a story a day keeps the bookworm away.


(just something to share with my readers)




a boy sms-ed a girl and asked her if she was busy. she replied him by saying, "go away."



the boy blamed the girl for getting angry at him for no reason whatsoever, which got himself angry.




an argument started. she called him but the boy hanged up on her.
she felt guilty for starting the whole thing and decided to send out this sms instead.




"something happened at work today and im feeling quite sad about it and i tot i could pour to you. but anyways, just wanted to let you know that im not workin tomm. since you're not in the mood, i shall not disturb you. gd nite."




it took some time for the boy to reply her and it got her anxious.
finally an sms arrived - "what happened?"




the girl was so glad for that sms. she asked if she could call him and begged that he wouldn't slam the phone, again.



the girl shed some tears while on the phone with the boy and the girl tried her best to share her problems. after a nice, good chat, everything was well once again.

everyone now knows its the raining season. its even in the news. and i have neither jacket nor umbrella with me in this raining season. its so freaking cold in the bus and even when you eat outside. imagine eating in an airconditioning room. your food will turn cold in 10seconds. no make that 20. =)




ok, i have one very very very very funny experience to share. i promised nad i would blog about it. once, we wanted to go parkway from ubi. i wanted to save on the bus fare so we walked to the bus stop that had bus no.15. it was 2 stops away so we walked and walked. and walked. and when it was still further away, it started to rain. slightly. we seeked shelter and the traffic lights each time before we crossed the road. but it didn't help much.




so we just continued walking just a little bit faster. but the rain got heavier. and heavier. then i started to run! (in my slippers) so i was running all my might and hoping i won't fall but while i was at it, my slipper suddenly slipped out of my feet and before i knew it, i was running barefooted!! hahhahah. it was so funny!! it was so like cinderella just that this cinderella was wearing slippers. it was raining so heavily and i was wearing yellow! i had to turn back, fetch my slipper and continue running. hahahha. paiseh!! but funny. i couldn't stop laughing.




3 more days to johnlittle pay day and i have so many things to buy! but most importantly, i want to get a jacket, an umbrella and trade in my phone. but by the time i trade in my phone, my pay would be gone. so much for saving a portion of it. but then, should i get a trade in? because i don't love this phone as much as i love my previous phones. i used to have this special 'connection' with my phone but i don't have that feeling with my current phone. i don't know why. alright, you can call me weird.




i'm thinking of either getting the N73 music edition, the new lamour collection swivel 7373 or flip 7390. but i've done my survey and the sviwel 7373 looks gorgeous!! woooo!! love love love. i went to ask how much my phone would fetch and guess what. a miserable 250. how can this beeeee!! argh...

school holiday has just started and i'm addicted to working. i even sacrificed the last few days of school for work and i had tremendous fun with the peeps this time round. as per usual, we called up john little for any vacancy and coincidentally they had an expo coming up and we were there to fill up the last minute vacancies. my and kynn even had to work different jobs. meaning different off days and lunch times.




even so, we made much better friends and i did a more interesting job. (no, not a basket collector) guess what it is. guess. guess!




PA announcer cum receptionist. ceh... hahhaha. like real only. but really ah. i didn't know i was a receptionist until they walkie-talkied 'recept' to me. they would go like, "recept come in recept." I would be like, who is recept? me ah? hahahha. yes. that was how my first day went.




so, i was the announcer as well. i'm the 'voice' that you hear over the hall about the hourly specials, weekend specials, paging for the parents of crying lost kids, paging for adults who've lost their way and paging for those who've lost their belongings. adding to that, i had to entertain customers that had problem of overcharging, return or exchanging of items.




so while i'm making an announcement, customers would turn their heads to me and watch me under the microphone. can you imagine how that feels like? like stage fright! like you're a performer on a stage except with no stage. hahahha.




but honestly, i don't mind doing it for the second time. i could do my job sitting down and mingle with a lot of people. other staff would always stop by my counter to take my sweet i place on my table. i even had to bring 2 cases of frozz on my last day just in case.




oh yes, and i lost my bag at the security checkpoint on my first day. shocking i know. you can even lose your bag at the security checkpoint. i lost my wallet containing my ic, my precious water bottle, my fav pink polo tee, my dearest black jacket and my black shorts! they are like my precious belongings but i'm thankful that i had my handphone and ezlink with me then. at least i didn't lose everything. =) so anyone wanna sponsor the replacement of my ic? hahhaha.




ok on top of that, now i'm working as a waitress at vivo city. i shall not reveal the restaurant name in case you guys peep by and see me working. i look buruk working. i look like orang gila. hahhaha. but i'll give you guys one clue where we're working. we wear orange-color top. very the striking. you guys can start playing 'restaurant' hunt now.




i shall leave you guys till here.
i'm working morning shift tomm and it was so busy just now. my back is about to break. can someone buy me the osim massage chair? oto also can. =)
