Mutiple posts coming up. So get ready for the entry marathon!

6th July 2006 - Thursday

i went to meet a buyer of my nokia 6670 original hp casing. i didn't want to go alone so i made nad accompany me. thanks hor! I guessed that everyone was busy with their own things so I had noone else to ask. he still owes me my birthday present anyway and coincidentally, he was collecting his pay. but i didn't get to decide what i wanted so the present is still pending. hee.

Ok what i actually wanted to blog on this day was the meeting with the buyer.

I sell stuff online - yahoo! auctions. So some of them request for meet-ups so this was one of those meet-ups.

I actually started the price at $8 including postage. He asked a question and he said he needed the casing immediately, how he could contact us and he wanted a meetup and he'll pay $9. Me and my sis were kinda confused on why would he want to pay $9 when we're selling $8 ? weird right?

So anyway we met outside 'popular' at compass point as the buyer sms-ed me to meet there. I actually thought that the buyer was a girl, because my sis said the email the buyer used to bid the item sounds like a girl's. So my mind was set to see a girl. I was holding on to the casing and I had no clue how the buyer looked like. We agreed to meet at the entry of 'popular'. Then there was this one guy, around my age standing there, don't know wait for what. THen i was so reluctant to go lah. he was looking at me weirdly and i was looking at him weirdly.

Our thoughts must be going like "eh, is this the one? what if it's not? later paiseh ah. but, is it him/her?" hahhaha. So what the heck, i just went to the guy and said, are you the one buying the cover? And of course, my judgment is right. lol.

I urged him to check the cover and i think he didn't bother. i was surprised. I mean, if being the kiasu-me, i think i would make sure that it's of good quality and still good ah. but he was like, just turn2 the packet for a few seconds then he said, can lah. hahahha. so good. i was worrying he wouldn't buy because there were some slightly visible scratches. After that, he took out his wallet and handed me 10 bucks. I was going to give his change. Guess what he said, oh, u can keep the change. like wth!! super duper good lah!!!

I was so happy as I was 10bucks richer. hahhaa. Nad noticed he had a few 10buck notes in the wallet. hahha. noti noti.

So after that, we just walk walk, talk talk and laugh laugh. We tried the corney dog at this hotdog's shop and it was very nice. we didn't know they had the cow-like tubes to squeeze out the sources onto our hotdogs until we were halfway down with out hotdogs. hahhaha. I think the cow-like tubes look kinda vulgar. lol.

2nd July 2006 - Sunday

Ervy's sister's friend's brother aka my friend's sister's friend's brother aka my friend aka my hyatt colleague's brother got married! And we were invited, to become the kendarat/servers/helpers. hahahha. =p

and England had to lose to Portugal on this day.

a sad day and arip called to share the news.

nevermind arip. england have 4 more years to claim the title.

but ****, beckham is not the captain anymore.

Damn you christiano ronaldo. Rooney should have stepped on your pe*** instead.

I would have done it myself if i was there in Germany. hahhaha. mcm real je.

Poor Rooney, Poor Beckham, Poor Gerard, Poor lampard, Poor Gary Neville, Poor Ashleycole, Poor Rio.

poor england.........................................................................................................

Looking on the bright side, I was $39 richer. Ervy passed me my pay which she collected for me the last time. thank you ervy! Continuing my story on the wedding, helpers were suppose to dress up with a white polo tee and black pants. I didn't have one so i wore my 3/4 cargo/baggy/very comfy black pants with my old-time white bacin shoes. hehe. so me, ervy and her bf waited for faiz at the bus stop. he watched the brazil match and thank god, BRAZIL lost. I was so shocked when i found out! hahahha. unbelievable!!! by craig david. hahhaha. ok, crap.

Ok so, we had some sort of a joke of the day - that day. There was this uncle in-charge of the decorations i think and was at the wedding. He was nice, encouraging us to eat more and don shy shy. He was smiling all the time and was very friendly. (probably extra friendly).

Later on, the desserts came and we were halfway done with our briyani rice. He came over our table and said, "Help yourselves to the desert. Got honeydew pudding..."

Then ervy said, "eh imah, did he just say desert? how we want to eat desert?"

I was laughing like hell la!! so funny!! everyone was laughing. i mean, if you act it out, and the way the uncle was talking to us and saying "desert" instead of "dessert" was like the funniest scene of the day. hahahha. but it felt so bad. i mean, hahhaha. ok, i think i shall stop talking/typing now

So, i chose thoe job of giving out the berkats/souveniars for the day. Easy job for me. hehehe. =p there were people looking at me funny. I think they somehow thought i'm a chinese and becoming a kendarat/helper for a malay wedding. Lucky there were pakcik/makcik, if not i korek2/digdig the eyeballs. hahhaha.

So I had to leave at 2.30pm as I had guitar lessons at 4. It was so sad. I wanted to stay but I had other commitments. It was so nice spending time with you people. =)

I love you guys!

24th June 2006 - Saturday

we attended a wedding banquet at westin stamford. my chinese side of relatives hosted it and we had one muslim table all to ourselves. =p we couldn't actually finish all the food that was served though I had endless topping-up of coke. i think i drank like 1.5l of coke that day or more. hahaha. So usually for these long-lost meetings, me and my sisters would go shop for something to wear beforehand. It's not everyday that we get invited to such places. And we had to look presentable - dress up for the occasion as people say it. lol.

and i tried to look natural with the high-heels! it's been decades since I had them on. And amazingly, with the high-heels, I'm finally at the same height with my sisters.(or somewhere there) hahahha. please don't laugh people. i hate being short.

So in the midst of waiting for the whole 9-course dinner to end, we had a mini picture taking(s) as a family/sisters. We were getting quite bored for a while and i think we took more pictures of ourselves than the groom and bride with the guests. kekeke. We're not vain. We're just filling up time. pictures comes precious memories. =)

i took a very long time to decide what to wear for this.i didn't want to overdress though i didn't want to look under-dress too. (is there such a word as under-dress? k whatever. you get what i mean) If it was so easy, i would have gone there with my t-shirt and jeans. =p i think my friends will have the shock of their lifetime if they saw me that day. hahah.

So then, it was our turn to take pictos with the bride and groom. like, finally! hehe.

all of us shook hands, (with the bride and groom that is. if i shook hands with my own family members, i think people would think we're weird. hahha) conveyed messages like "congratulations" and "thank you". It was a nice blue & white wedding. i wouldn't mind going again, because it's not me giving the red hongbao. hehe.

So after the wedding, we continued our photo-taking frenzy. We covered the lobby, the lifts, the bouquets displayed and almost everywhere. I think we missed the toilet. damn...

*something wrong with the blogger so limited pics for this entry. =(

And i'm tired. to write somemore.

and to that someone. i give up. dont bother about me. i will not bother about you. there's nothing left in this body of mine that is still pinning hopes on you. I want to make things clear once and for all. no more confusion, no more heart pains, no more torturing. i hope i'm not the bad person again because the hints and clues expressed were oblivious to you. it seems that you don't care at all and i'm blamed for being too sensitive. argh, it's always me that has to be the bad one. i simply, give up. forget it. forget it!!
