School started last week. And I'm in W36N. The one and only malay kid in class. How worse could it get?

First day of school, it felt kinda weird to be in a new class. I knew no one, and everyone was a Chinese. And the mode of communication was consistently English (thank god) though sometimes it got side-tracked to Mandarin a couple of times. But I didn't mind it. Because I understood a teeny weeny bit of Chinese myself. Hee.

My morning procedures are back to my Secondary School days. Early mornings at 6.20-6.40am and my alarm's the first to ring each weekday. I got into my elective module which I thought I would not get in. It was a miracle that I got into DBMS to start with.

So now, I blame my itchy hands for submitting my module selection with the elective. BUT, I will not drop my elective because it would reflect badly on my graduating cert so, I SHALL persevere!! Just a semester and once it's all over, I can forget about the IPDBMS program and lead my normal poly life. I don't wanna stress myself out by aiming to study abroad a year in Australia to get my Bachelor and not enjoy myself through the journey. I dont see the purpose of it. My aim in entering a poly was, I wanted to enjoy my academic journey.

My first week in W36N was some sort a very quiet week where everyone kept things to themselves and hoping each day ends very quickly. (I was one of them. =p)

But approaching to the 2nd week, I think we sort of further familiarize ourselves with the peeps and its turning out for the better. (but I'm still the only mly kid in class)

I hate the early mornings. Whenever I'm about to cross the road to the bus-stop, 83 would have arrived. I'd then have to run all the way, hoping that the bus will not be full and waits for me. After that, I have to wait for 161 over at Sengkang. DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE TAKE 161 OVER AT THAT BUS STOP???

If it was the double-deck bus, I could still go in. Where I'll be like a sandwiched tuna at the front door. But when it is single-decked, I wouldn't even get the chance to go in, unless the bus stops directly in front of me. Once, 3 buses single-decked 161 actually didn't open the door because it was too full. See how frustrating it is?? And to see multiple 27 buses pass by at one time frustrates me even more. GGgrr..

They should make a bus from either Sengkang/Punggol to Woodlands. I'd love that. Muaahahhahahah.
