I went to a one day malacca trip with my family. Each of my sisters got 100RM to spent on that day. We set off at 7.30am by bus and there was a jam at Tuas. We went with a tour group and everything was arranged nicely. I got to sit beside this makcik whereas my other family members sat in a row at the back of the bus. Actually, I didn't feel neglected or alone actually and I'm proud of it. Because I think if I was younger, I would have been in a bad mood thinking, why must I be the one to sit here alone by myself? But instead, I felt nothing and thought it was a small sacrifice that I had to make. It was nothing to be petty about. So I'm proud that I've matured. hehehhehe. So, I actually didn't mind sitting at my seat. =)
So, first we had a stop at the Bee tourist attraction. They had models of different types of bees and their stages in living. It was disgusting. eeeee. I didn't like that place. Then there were free flying bees at the corners. It was scary. I thought they would have this live case showing live bees but I was shocked they were left to fly freely. scary... Then they also sold different types of honey but my family didn't buy any. We're not fans of honey.
After that, we went to eat Ikan bakar. That was the best stop. Let me list out the food list
1.Grilled Fish 2.Asam Pedas Ikan Pari 3.Chilli Crab 4.Kangkong 5.The Green type Cockles 6.Prawns 7.Another type of Grilled Fish 8.Sweet & Sour Fish (my fav, sweet and sour) 9.Fried Squid w Flour(also my fav, squid)10.Free Flow of Syrup Drink
So, there was a lot of dishes and it was nice nice nice.
After that, we stopped by at the HangTuah's well. My mom took 2 bottles of water from the well, hoping that it would bless my little sister.
After that, It was all shopping shopping shopping!!! My dad bought the vcds, original ones(i think, hehe), I bought clothes and food(hahhaha), my sisters bought shoes, clothes and all that girl stuff, my mom bought..erm..she bought...I'm not too sure. hhaahha. She bought belacan!! for my aunts. The bus was stinking with belacan but luckily it didnt spread to the front. Only the back row could smell it, if we opened the plastic. When my father carried it to the custom, the smell started to spread and I myself couldn't stand it. hahahhaa. And that plastic bag was heavy from the packets of belacan.
So, I reach home around 1.30am because Tuas had jam. We were stuck from around 11-1. I reached home at 2am and I had school the next morning. Imagine that... Hahaha. And i did go to school, with me falling asleep constantly behind my father's back on the bike. oops =x
